Adding a security certificate for Media Management repositories using SSL

You can connect to a Media Management repository over the HTTPS protocol if the Media Management server uses SSL. To connect, you must add a certificate file to the \securityprofiles folder you created for the profile configuration file.

Note:

When accessing a Media Management repository securely, SSL (Version 3) is the only supported channel type.

To add a certificate file

1	In the folder structure that you unpacked in To connect to a Media Management repository from stand-alone StoryTeller, browse to the \data\certificate folder.

2	Copy the certificate file to the <StreamServe installation> \Services\StoryTeller\<version>\bin\securityprofiles folder.
