Starting and configuring the StoryTeller tool > Connecting to an OpenText Media Management repository > StoryTeller opened stand-alone

StoryTeller opened stand-alone
To use a Media Management profile for connecting to a Media Management repository when you run StoryTeller stand-alone (e.g open the tool from Start menu > All programs > OpenText > StreamServe > Design > StoryTeller), you must manually add a profile configuration file to the StoryTeller installation. You can obtain such a file by exporting a Design Center Project where the appropriate profiles are configured.
See Adding a connection profile to a Media Management repository.
For an SSL connection to the Media Management repository, you must add a certificate file to the StoryTeller installation. You can also export the certificate file from the Design Center Project.
See Adding a security certificate for Media Management repositories using SSL.

Instead of using a Media Management profile, you can manually specify authentication and TCP/IP connection. For example, to let the connection change during runtime.
