Error handling after the filter chain When an E-Invoice Center filter chain is successfully closed, the e-invoice is stored in the Seller’s archive. However, if an error occurs after the filter chain (and any retries configured for the output queue are exhausted), the job fails. The e-invoice is stored in the Seller’s archive, but yet not delivered to the Buyer or stored in the Buyer’s archive. The failed job must be attended to by a system administrator to ensure that the e-invoice is delivered to the Buyer. Monitoring jobs using Status Messenger Status Messenger can be used to generate status reports for jobs. For example, if a job fails, an e-mail can be generated and sent to the system administrator who can take the proper precautions. For more information, see the Status Messenger documentation. Resending jobs using StreamStudio Reporter System administrators can use StreamStudio Reporter to resend jobs from the queues. For example, if the secure connection between the Seller and the Buyer is interrupted, system administrators can resend jobs when the connection is re-established. In the Design Center Platform configuration for the queues, you must specify that both information and job should be stored for failed jobs. This means failed jobs remain in the queues until they are successfully reprocessed. For more information, see the Reporter documentation.
