E-Invoice Center error handling

E-Invoice Center error handling
Errors can occur in different processing stages in E-Invoice Center. For example, if the connection to the TrustWeaver On Demand service is interrupted, an invoice cannot be signed or validated. Or if the connection to the Buyer is interrupted, a signed and validated e-invoice cannot be delivered to the Buyer.
Errors in the E-Invoice Center filter chain
If an error occurs in the E-Invoice Center filter chain, the complete filter chain fails. The filter chain rolls back the changes made and nothing is archived in the Seller’s archive.
For more information, see Error handling in the filter chain.
Errors after the E-Invoice Center filter chain
If the filter chain is successfully closed, the e-invoice is stored in the Seller’s archive. If an error occurs after the filter chain (for example, if the delivery fails due to an email or FTP error), the job fails. The e-invoice is not sent to the Buyer and is not stored in the Buyer’s archive. The failed job must be attended to by a system administrator to ensure that the e-invoice is delivered to the Buyer.
Status Messenger can be used to inform the system administrator about job status. The system administrator can then manually resend failed jobs, for example, by using StreamStudio Reporter.
For more information, see Error handling after the filter chain.
