Adding device drivers to the device driver repository

Only devices stored in the internal StreamServe device driver repository will be available to the Design Center. You must use the Device Tool if you want to add a new device to this repository.

Native device drivers	The repository contains a number of native device drivers that you cannot modify. These device drivers have (Native) added to the device name.
Create new	You can create new device drivers from scratch in the Device Tool, and add them to the repository. See Creating a new device driver manually.
Import package file	You can import a device driver that has been packaged to a StreamServe Device Package file (*.sdp). See Importing a package file.
Duplicate	You can create a duplicate of a device driver. You can for example make a duplicate of a native device driver and save it under a new name as a custom device driver. See Duplicating a device driver.
Windows printer driver	If you have created a Windows printer driver, you must use the Device Tool to add it to the repository. See Adding a Windows printer driver.
