The Device Tool

You use the Device Tool to add device drivers to, and edit device drivers in, the internal StreamServe device driver repository. If you only want to change the font definitions for the driver, you do not have to edit the device driver. In this case you can use a font substitution table that you add to the output connector. See the Design Center documentation for more information.

Note:

The Device Tool and the Design Center use the same device driver repository. This means you must close all instances of the Design Center before you can start the Device Tool.

To start the Device Tool

From Windows Start menu, select All Programs > OpenText > OpenText StreamServe > Utilities > Windows Driver Tool.
