Redeploying a Project
Prerequisites
If the Project includes modified document types and the documents are stored in a Collector archive, it is recommended to let the Archiver applications finish any ongoing archiving tasks and then stop the applications.
To redeploy a Project

To compare the export files when you redeploy a Project

Click Deploy an export file from the file system, browse to the export file for the Project, and click Next.

Click the physical layer to deploy, click Compare export packages on deploy and then click Next.

Click Cancel to cancel the deployment.
Click Finish to continue and deploy the export file.
To redeploy a Project with modified document types

Right-click the StreamServer application and select Redeploy. The document types in the updated Project are compared with the existing document types in StreamServe Enterprise Repository.

Click OK or Cancel.
If the redeploy succeeds, any modified document types are updated in the enterprise repository. When the StreamServer and Archiver applications are restarted, the document types are updated in the runtime repository and in the Collector archive.
If the redeploy fails due to modified document types, you can either:
To redeploy a Project with modified StoryTeller Processes

Right-click the StreamServer application and select Redeploy. The StoryTeller Processes in the Project are compared with existing templates in the StreamServe Enterprise Repository.
