Uploading a license file

To connect a license file to your StreamServer applications, you must upload the license file (strs.lic) to the management gateway root directory of the host, or to the working directories of the StreamServer applications. If you upload the license file to both the management gateway root directory and to a StreamServer application working directory, the license file in the working directory overrides the license file in the management gateway root directory.

You can upload a license file in four ways:

•	Upload on site level – the license file is uploaded to the management root directories for all hosts on the site.

•	Upload on application domain level – the license file is uploaded to the working directories for all StreamServer applications in the application domain.

•	Upload on host level – the license file is uploaded to the management root directory for the selected host.

•	Upload on StreamServer application level – the license file is uploaded to the working directory for the selected StreamServer application.

To upload a license file

1	In Control Center, right-click the appropriate node (site, application domain, host or StreamServer application node) and select Upload License.

2	Browse to and open the license file.
