Clearing the mapping of document types and metadata

You can clear the mapping for all document types and metadata. This removes the mapping for all document types and metadata displayed in the Document Type and Metadata Mapping dialog box.

If you click Clear all and then click OK, you delete the contents of the elsmap.xml files for all applications that are in an application domain linked to the ELS connection profile. This means these applications cannot store documents in Content Server an Archive Server.

To clear the mapping

1	In the Document Type and Metadata Mapping dialog box, click File > Clear all.

2	Remap the document types and metadata, see the following:

–	Manually mapping the document types and metadata

–	Automatically mapping of document types and metadata with Automap.
