Before you can map document types and metadata

The following steps are required:

•	Create the document type in Design Center, export, and deploy the Project.

•	Create a connection to Enterprise Library, see Setting up connection profile for Enterprise Library.

•	Link the connection to the application domain, see Linking the Enterprise Library connection profile and application domain.

Corresponding document models and properties in ELS

In Enterprise Library, document models and properties must exist that correspond to the document types and metadata used by the StreamServer application.

StreamServe provides an easy way to create a document type based on an Enterprise Library document model and vice versa. For more information, see the following topics:
