Element evaluation

An absolute path for the element is used as lookup key, for example:

<tdt:rule path="/data/day/station">

If several elements share the same XPath, then index based XPaths are used as lookup key, for example:

<tdt:rule path="/data/day[1]/station[3]">

If a rule is defined for an element, then this element is evaluated in the current evaluation scope and replaced by N copies (copies with all children) where N is the size of the evaluation Result Node-Set. If the Result Node-Set is empty, then the element is removed and no children are evaluated.

If no transformation rule is defined for an element, then the element is left as it is in the data template (no value or static value).
