Enabling Data template to use with interactive objects

For StoryTeller Documents that you have created in StreamServe versions before 5.6.2, or in StreamServe 5.6.2 in Message mode, you must enable and create a Data templates. To create a Data template, you can either:

•	Use the Message to initialize the Data template structure

•	Load a file with a previously saved Data template structure

•	Create a Data template structure manually.

Opening StoryTeller for the first time in a new 5.6.2 installation

When opening a StoryTeller Process or a StoryTeller stand-alone document for the first time, you are prompted to select which mode you want to use for new designs. To use interactive objects, select Use data template and optionally to Automatically transform Message data into the Data template.

You can modify this behavior later by setting it in Tools > Options > Defaults > Data transformation.
