Selecting an image or overlay dynamically

To use dynamic images in transactional data, for example, in item tables, refer the repeater to the image name in a concatenation.

To select image or overlay dynamically

1	Select the image or overlay with the URI you want to make dynamic.

2	In the Properties panel Image category, select the Image URI property.

3	In the Data Selection dialog, either:

–	Browse to the field or variable.

–	Enter an XPath.

Note:

If you use an XPath expression, enter it directly in the Modification text field, for example:

concat($image_path, image_name, ".bmp")

 

You can remove or edit the modification later by selecting the Modification field in the Properties panel and removing or editing the data.
