You can apply variable data on the following object properties by setting a modification on the property:
• If a property has a modification specified for it, there is an orange box around the property value and the value is displayed in italic.The modification is defined by an XPath expression shown at the bottom of the Properties panel. For information on XPath, see Specifying output format.
Note: The XPath expression must always evaluate to no value or exactly one value. An exception is thrown if:
– An empty string is returned from an XPath expression that evaluates font or color changes.
When setting a modification on any of the following enumeration properties, the evaluated values must be numeric:For numbers corresponding to the property values, see the StGetProperty() script function in the Scripting Reference.When setting a modification on a property that is measured in units, the evaluated value is always in points. A point is 1/72 of an inch.
