Methods for mapping document types and metadata
There are two ways you can map document types and metadata:
Automap – Automap is a simple way for you to map all the documents types and metadata in the application domains linked to the ELS connection profile. Automap finds document models and proprieties in ELS that have the same object names as document types and metadata in StreamServe, and maps them to one another. Note that Automap does not map to Content Server categories and attributes.
Manually mapping – In the Document Type and Metadata Mapping dialog box in Control Center, you can manually map document types and metadata to ELS document models and properties. From here you can also map a document type and metadata to Content Server categories an attributes.
