Icons

 

Icon	What it does
	Opens the Insert/Modify table dialog box, where you manage table settings.
	Opens the Table row properties dialog box, where you manage settings for the current row, odd rows, even rows or all rows in the table.
	Opens the Table cell properties dialog box, where you manage settings for the current cell, all cells in current row or all cells in the table.
	Inserts a row above current row.
	Inserts a row below current row.
	Deletes the current row.
	Inserts a column before the current column.
	Inserts a column after the current column.
	Deletes the current column.
	Splits a merged table cell.
	Opens the Merge table cells dialog box, where you set how to merge several table cells in the same row into one cell.

Cols	Number of columns in the table.
Rows	Number of rows in the table.
Alignment	Horizontal alignment of the table in the story frame. The options are left, center and right. If table width is not set, the table is sized to the width of the story frame.
Border	Thickness of the outer table borders, set in number of pixels.
Width	Table width, set in number of pixels or in a percentage of the width of the story frame.
Height	Table height, set in number of pixels.
Border color	Color of outer border. Color of inner borders are set in the Table cell properties dialog box.
Background color	Table background color.
Style	Predefined styles that controls the table layout.

The settings you make in this dialog box can be applied on the current row, all even rows, all odd rows, or the entire table.

Alignment	How the text is horizontally aligned in the row. The options are center, left or right. Alignment set for a row, overrides alignment set for the table.
Vertical alignment	How the text is vertically aligned in the row. The options are top, center and bottom.
Style	Predefined styles that controls the table layout.
Height	Cell height, set in number of pixels.
	Update current row – Modified settings are applied on the current row. Update odd rows in table – Modified settings are applied on odd rows in the current table. Update even rows in table – Modified settings are applied on even rows in current table. Update all rows in table – Modified settings are applied on all rows in the current table.

The settings you make in this dialog box can be applied on the current cell, all cells in the current row, or the entire table.

Alignment	How the text is horizontally aligned in the cell. The options are center, left or right. Alignment set for a cell overrides alignment set for the row and/or table.
Vertical alignment	How the text is vertically aligned in the cell. The options are top, center and bottom.
Border color	Color of inner borders. Color of outer borders are set in the Insert/Modify table dialog box.

Width	Cell width, set in number of pixels or in a percentage of the width of the table.
Height	Cell height, set in number of pixels.
