Using Ad Hoc Correspondence > Managing text fragments in a document > Editing texts in a document

Editing texts in a document
You can edit all write enabled text fragments in a document. This applies to text fragments that are already in the documents as well as to text fragments that you add to the document.
Displaying editable texts
A pencil icon is displayed in the upper left corner of all editable texts when you click the Editable texts button in the Ad Hoc Correspondence GUI. This pencil icon is also displayed when you move the cursor over an editable text fragment.
Always use the Ad Hoc text editor
Always write your texts directly in the Ad Hoc text editor, using the available fonts and formatting.
Advanced editing
When you open a text in the text editor, you can switch to advanced editing by clicking the HTML icon. The text is then presented in XHTML format, enabling advanced editing and clean-up. To use this option, you must be familiar with the XHTML format.
