Adding new text fragments to a document
All text fragments attached to, but not included in, a document definition are available when you open a document in Ad Hoc Correspondence. You can search for the appropriate text fragment and add it to the document. If the text fragment was write enabled when the document definition was published in Composition Center you can edit the text if you need to, but if it is not write enabled you can only add it as read-only to the document.
Searching for text fragments
By default, all available text fragments are shown when you click Add content to open the Add content pane. You can use the category filter in this pane to limit the number of text fragments – only text fragments assigned all the categories you select are shown.
Previewing before adding
When you open the Add content pane, only the names of the fragments are shown. To preview a text fragment you can double-click the text fragment.
Where to add text fragments
The sections in the document where you can add text fragments are highlighted with frames. You are prompted to add the new text fragment before or after the section.
