Collector specific components To run StreamStudio Collector, you need a Collector archive and an Archiver application in addition to the basic StreamStudio components. Figure 2 StreamStudio Collector components Collector archive The Collector archive stores output documents and related metadata that are accessed from the Collector web application. When a user searches for documents in the Collector archive, all requests and responses are sent through the service gateway. When a user stores searches, these are stored on the runtime repository. Archiver application The Archiver application transfers output documents and metadata from the runtime repository to the Collector archive according to a specified schedule.
