For example, z,z9 indicates a grouping of two by two digits, the more common grouping with three by three digits is indicated by using z,zz9. The grouping separator output depends on locale. E.g. for Swedish a space is output between the groups. . For example, z,zz9.zzz,z describes a common decimal number formatting. It uses a locale dependent punctuation for grouping (of three digits both in the integer and decimal parts), and a locale dependent decimal separator. The input data 123456789.123456789 formatted with this Picture Clause returns 123 456 789,123 456 789 if the locale has space as grouping separator and "," as decimal separator.
