Image properties

 

Image URI	The URI identifying the image, for example file:///my_images_folder/image1.jpg or a URI to a Design Center resource: dcresource:<resource_id> If the image is referenced from a Media Management repository, the URI can look as follows: otmm://otmm-gbg-ssl/?id=6708ba967b9b4dbd94f01fd6457a781c3e98e173 Note: Images from a Media Management repository are by default referenced by ID, as in the last example above. You can change it to a name reference in the URI type property. You can click the browse button which displays the Insert Image dialog at the location where the image was inserted/referenced from, and you can select another image. Note: This property can be set to be dynamic in the Modification field.
Name	The name of the image file. If URI type is set to ID, the name is retrieved from the image metadata. If URI type is Name, the value specified in the Name property is used to identify the image. If you enter a value in the Name property, it can include a path to the file, e.g. /Public folder/my_images/logo.png. This folder can be relative to the current folder or absolute (as in the example above). The path is removed automatically from the Name value, but is reflected in the Image URI property.
Repository properties The Repository properties are available for images that are linked from a Media Management repository. These properties are included in the Image URI property, or they are metadata retrieved from the image resource. Note: All properties can be made dynamic by setting a Modification on them, except for Type and URI type. However, you can retrieve the values from all properties using the StGetProperty script function.
Type	The repository type, currently only OTMM (OpenText Media Management) repository is supported.
URI type	ID – The image, including a specific version of the image, is referenced by a Media Management repository asset ID. Note: If the image is renamed and/or moved in the Media Management client after you have added the image, the link will is be valid through this ID. Name – The image is referenced by its name and the folder it is stored in. Only the latest version of the image can be referenced by name. If you want to let the image reference change during runtime, it is easier to use name references than the ID.
ID	The ID identifying the image, including a specific version of the image.
Version	The version of the image. Select Latest to select the latest version available. This is required if you want to specify the latest version for more than one image if they are multi-selected. Note: If Use latest version is selected, this option is not editable.
Use latest version	Select to always use the latest version of the image. Note: If URI type is set to Name, this option is selected by default and not editable.
Connection	The Media Management profile, or an authentication and TCP/IP value, used for connecting to the Media Management repository. The authentication and TCP/IP values must be specified as: username.password@host:port
Folder	The folder in the Media Management repository where the image was located when linking to it. If the image is moved to another folder after you linked the image, this value is empty. Note: If URI type is set to Name, this folder must exist.

Transparent color	The color of a bitmap image that is treated as transparent. For example if the image has a pink background and you will be printing on white paper you can “remove” this background by specifying the pink color as transparent. For information on how to specify colors, see Colors.
