Object properties

Note:

Not all properties are available for every object type.

Name	The name of the object.
Description	A description of the object.
Link - Address	The URI of the link, or a javascript command to e.g. open a PDF document.
Link - Screen tip	The screen tip text for the link, displayed when hovering over the link.
Script	Scripts that you have attached to the object. See Adding scripts to an object.
Story	The Story name if the object is a Story frame.
Expose	Exposes the Story in Composition Center. When the Process is deployed to a Composition Center enabled StreamServer application, the Story is listed in Composition Center and the business user can use the Story in their document definition. Note: You can not set this option if the Story name is not unique within the document or if it contains a section. For information on document definitions, see the Composition Center documentation.
Page	The page definition selection of a page link object.
Occurrence	For a page link, or page link group, you can specify the occurrence: Once or more – Once or indefinite number of times depending on the Story length. Repeatable – No occurrence or indefinite number of times depending on the Story length. Optional – No occurrence or once depending on if a Story flows from previous pages onto this page. Exact – The number of times specified in the Count property for the page link.
Switch XPath	An XPath expression that evaluates to a key whose value is used to select Story.
Switch sample data	A key value to simulate a specific runtime XPath evaluation during design.
Story reference	When a Story reference is selected, select the Story to re-use. Note: If you select the Text area that holds the Story reference, and select a Story to use in the Story option, the Text area becomes a Story frame for the selected Story.
Variables	The list of variable names that is used to preserve the variable values with each formatted page instance (After the After script on a page). See Storing variables on a page.
