The Create Chart wizard

Note:

After you have completed the wizard you must drag out the area for the chart on the page. If the area is not big enough, the chart is not visible.

 

Create Chart properties
Select Chart Type	Select the chart type.
Set chart appearance	Set a static number of categories – Select the number of categories that the chart always contains. Use a dynamic number of categories – This requires that the Event supports a dynamic number of categories. For example, a StreamIN with a block of fields. The developer specifies these variables in the Chart Data dialog. See Adding dynamic data to chart data.
Set chart colors	Use colors from an array – You can use colors from an array for a chart with a dynamic number of categories, since you do not know how many categories there are in the chart for each document. You can also use a block where one of the fields specifies the color for each category. For a static number of categories, you can also select to have variable colors, if the Event supports it. Set colors manually – For a static number of categories, you can specify the colors to use for each category.
Set Chart texts - Chart title
Text	The Chart title.
Position	Select whether the chart title is displayed over or under the chart.
Font/Size/Color	See Fonts.
Set Chart texts - Legend
Show legend	Shows or hides the chart legend.
Show border around legend	Show or hides the border around the legend.
Position	The vertical position of the legend.
Alignment	The horizontal position of the legend.
Font/Size/Color	See Fonts.
Set Chart texts - Data labels
Show data labels	Shows or hides the data labels.
Position	The vertical position of the data labels.
Alignment	The horizontal position of the data labels.
Font/Size/Color	See Fonts.
