Properties panel

Lists the properties you can view and edit for the active object. The Properties panel is context sensitive, that is, only available options and values are displayed.

Some objects have a different set of options depending on how you have selected the object, i.e. from a tree panel or from one of the sheet views. For example, a substitution selected in the Document view have Layout properties etc available, whereas if you select it in the Document tree panel, only Object and Data properties are available.

Note:

If you have selected two or more objects, the value of a specific property is displayed as blank, unless the property has the same value for all the selected objects.However, a value can be set and will be applied to all selected objects.
