Using translation files
You can use translation files to translate substitutions of type Translation.
To simulate translation processing during design
1
Create an .sls file and add it to the resource set, or use the same file as for runtime processing. For syntax of .sls files, see Translations.
2
Select Tools > Options.
3
Select Processing simulation.
4
Click the browse button to the right of the Language Translation Table drop-down list, and browse to the .sls file.
5
6
7
In the Properties panel Data category, set Substitution type to Translation.
8
In the Key field, enter the key that identifies a row for each language in the language file. In the Language file example, invoice_transport is one possible key.
9
10
Select the language to translate into, or set to <Default>. By specifying the default language, the language you have specified in Tools > Options > Processing Simulation is used.
