Charts

You can add a chart either directly on a page or let it flow within a Story.

To add a chart directly on a page

1	Select the Document View or Page View.

2	In the toolbar, click Chart.

3	The Create Chart wizard opens.

4	Select the type of chart to use and click Next.

5	Select whether the chart uses a dynamic number of categories and click Next.

6	Specify the Chart title, Legend, and Data labels options and click Finish.

7	In the layout, click the position you want the upper left corner of the chart to be located and drag it out to the desired size.

For line and bar charts, you must set the coordinate limits to a value higher than the highest expected input data. Otherwise, the chart bars or lines may be rendered outside the graph bounding box. See Coord limits in Chart properties.

To add a chart to a Story

1	Right-click the Story in the position where you want the chart and select Insert > Chart. The Create Chart wizard opens.

2	Follow the wizard and click Finish. A chart of default size is added to the story.

3	Optionally resize the chart and modify the chart design in the Properties panel Chart category.
