You can enter text in:
To enable text to flow between Story frames, the text must be entered in a Story. You can enter it either directly inside the Story frame or in the Story view.
If you add text outside of a Story, it is rendered on the page in the identical location for each instance of the page that is created.

To activate text editing
There are several ways to activate text editing:
To de-ativate text editing
Press the Esc key to select the object containing the text, or click outside the object.

When editing text, you can traverse the content upwards by pressing the Esc key, moving one step up to the object’s parent at a time, selecting the whole outer scope of the edited object.
For example, if you are in text editing mode in a table cell, pressing Escape key will select the current cell in the table. Pressing Esc once more selects the table, i.e. not all cells are selected, but the table object.
 
To make a shape a text object

Right-click the object and select Text > Add Text. The shape becomes a Text object.

To share a stand-alone text as a Story
Right-click the object that contains the text and select Text > Share Story. A new Story is created and listed in the Stories panel.
