Drawing tools
You can create shapes using the rectangle and ellipse tools, or use the free form or curve tools. A free form has sharp corners as opposed to a curve. However, by editing points you can create one ore more curved corners on a free form.
Free forms and curves are automatically closed by default. This means that the last line is automatically drawn to the starting point of the first line of the shape. You can select to keep an object open.
To draw a free form or curve

Click the Free form or Curve toolbar button.

Uncheck the Closed check-box.
