Linking pages A page is automatically linked to the document when you add a new page definition. However, you can create several links to a page in the document, or link to previously unlinked pages. You can set the occurrence for each page link. For example, if the linked page is only used once in the document, or if instances of the page can occur as many times needed depending on input data. The default occurrence is that the page can occur once or more depending on input data. Examples of how you can define a document structure: • A first page that only occurs once. • A second page that only occurs if a Story does not fit on the first page. • A body page that occurs repeatedly as many times as needed depending on Story length. • A back page that is rendered on all sheets in the output. You can create another set of pages after the first set. For example, if you want to create two different letters in the same Process. To link to a page definition 1 In the Document panel, select Insert > Page Link. The Select Page for Link dialog opens. 2 Select the page definition to link to and click OK. You can also drag a page from the Pages panel to the Document panel to link the page to the document. To specify the occurrence of the page link 1 In the Document or Structure panel, right-click the page and select Occurrence. 2 Select the occurrence for the page. See Layout properties.
