Trouble-shooting

If you experience problems using the StoryTeller tool, see the Known Issues section in the New features documentation. This lists the known issues in the current release.

You can view logging in the Output panel for actions performed in the StoryTeller tool. See Output panel.

To change the log level, see Changing log level of messages in the Output panel.

You can start the StoryTeller tool from a command line where you can specify the option to start with default tool configuration. See Starting the StoryTeller tool with option parameters.

You can also select to output exception messages in the output panel, instead of displaying error pop-ups, which in some cases can cause the tool to hang.
