Managing the grid

You use the grid to align objects in the Document and Page views. The grid is shown by default. The snap to grid function is also enabled by default.

Note:

The grid unit settings also apply to the rulers.

To modify the grid

From the Tools menu, select Grid settings. For more information about grid settings, see Grid settings dialog.

To hide or show the grid

Click the Grid toolbar button.

Note:

No grid is available in the Story view

To disable or enable snap to grid

Click the Snap to grid toolbar button.
