Copies a string and interprets numbers in angle brackets as two-digit hexadecimal numbers (useful for Escape sequences). Other characters are returned unchanged. Checks if a string expression is in ‘amount’ format. ‘Amount’ format is a string in the format commonly used to represent e.g. monetary amounts, for example 12,345,678.90 Converts a number to a string, formatting the string according to the specified format syntax.
