Type and conversion functions

The table below contains a short description of each script function. For information about syntax, examples, etc., see the full description of each script function.

Function name	Description
AmountValue	Converts a string to a numerical value using a specified format.
ConvCurrMsgToUC	Converts the encoding of input data from the specified code page to UCS-2.
HexStr	Copies a string and interprets numbers in angle brackets as two-digit hexadecimal numbers (useful for Escape sequences). Other characters are returned unchanged.
IsAmountValue	Checks if a string expression is in ‘amount’ format. ‘Amount’ format is a string in the format commonly used to represent e.g. monetary amounts, for example 12,345,678.90
IsNum	Checks if a string expression consists of digits.
NFormat	Converts a number to a string, formatting the string according to the specified format syntax.
Num	Converts a string expression to a numerical value.
