StoryTeller functions

The following functions with the ‘St’ prefix are to be used in StoryTeller tool only. The table contains a short description of each script function. For information about syntax, examples, etc., see the full description of each script function.

StEvalXPath	Evaluates an XPath and returns a string.
StGetParagraphPageXMm	Returns the paragraph X coordinate in millimeters relative to page.
StGetParagraphPageXPt	Returns the paragraph X coordinate in points relative to page.
StGetParagraphPageYMm	Returns the paragraph Y coordinate in millimeters relative to page.
StGetParagraphPageYPt	Returns the paragraph Y coordinate in points relative to page.
StGetParagraphXMm	Returns the paragraph X coordinate in millimeters relative to text area.
StGetParagraphXPt	Returns the paragraph X coordinate in points relative to text area.
StGetParagraphYMm	Returns the paragraph Y coordinate in millimeters relative to text area.
StGetParagraphYPt	Returns the paragraph Y coordinate in points relative to text area.
StGetProcessingProperty	Returns the value of the specified processing property.
StGetProperty	Returns the value of a non-dimensional property.
StGetPropertyMm	Returns the value in millimeters of a dimensional property.
StGetPropertyPt	Returns the value in points of a dimensional property.
StIsEmpty	Checks if an object is empty.
StLanguageLookup	Returns a translated value from .sls lookup tables.
StMsgAddNode	Appends a node name to a Message.
StMsgAttachXML	Appends an XML DOM node – loaded from an XML string – to a Message node.
StMsgAttachXMLFile	Appends an XML DOM node – loaded from an XML file – to a Message node.
StMsgSaveToFile	Saves Message data for an Event into an XML file.
StSetProperty	Sets a value on a non-dimensional property.
StSetPropertyMm	Sets a value in millimeters on a dimensional property.
StSetPropertyPt	Sets a value in points on a dimensional property.
StURIExist	Checks if a specified URI exists, including StoryTeller protocols.
StXPathNextPosition	Increments the traversing position in the node set that has been pushed onto the memory stack.
StXPathPopNodeSet	Removes the previously pushed node set from the memory stack.
StXPathPushNodeSet	Evaluates an XPath expression to create a node set that is pushed onto the data context memory stack.
StXPathSetPosition	Sets the traversing position inside the node set that has been pushed onto the memory stack.
StXPathSortNodeSet	Sorts the node set that has been pushed onto the data context memory stack. The sorting is performed based on the provided parameters.
