File handling functions

The table below contains a short description of each script function. For information about syntax, examples, etc., see the full description of each script function.

Function name	Description
Base64DecodeFile	Decodes a base64 encoded file and stores the result in an output file.
Base64EncodeFile	Encodes an input file to base64 format. The encoded data is stored in an output file.
CurrInFileName	Returns the name of the input file, if there is one, else an empty string.
CurrInRealPath	Returns the temporary file name of the input file, if there is one.
CurrInSavePath	Input files retrieved via a Directory input connector can be copied to backup directory. All files are given unique names when copied to the backup directory. The CurrInSavePath function is used to retrieve the new file names.
FileClose	Closes the specified file.
FileCopy	Copies the specified file, and leaves the original file unchanged.
FileDelete	Deletes the specified file.
FileMove	Moves the specified file from one location to another.
FileOpen	Opens the specified file for reading or writing according to mode specified.
FileReadLn	Reads a line from the specified file until a new line or an end of file is reached, and returns the line to a specified variable.
FileSize	Returns the size of the specified file.
FileWrite	Writes data to the specified file.
FileWriteLn	Writes data to the specified file, and adds a new line character at the end. You must open the file with FileOpen before calling FileWriteLn, and use the FileClose function to close the file.
IoErrText	Returns the error text for IO functions.
MkDir	Creates a new directory using the specified path.
OutputFile	Used in a Process to send the contents of a file directly to an output connector, without changing or modifying the contents. It can also be used for concatenating or encapsulating already existing data.
URLClose	Closes the file at the specified URL.
URLExist	Checks if a file exists at the specified URL.
URLOpen	Opens a file at the specified URL for reading.
URLReadLn	Reads a line from a file at the specified URL until a new line or an end of file is reached, and returns the line to a specified variable.
