Secure channel profiles
A secure channel profile is used to define a security protocol (SSL or TLS) to secure the communication channel. The secure channel profile can reference a certificate store profile that is used in conjunction with the security protocol.
The secure channel profile can be referenced by any connection profile in the same profile configuration. For example, by a TCP/IP profile or web service profile.
Note:

SSL (version 3) or TLS (version 1).
Note:
When accessing a Media Management repository securely, SSL (version 3) is the only supported channel type.
