Moving objects relative to the grid

1	Select the objects.

2	Select Object > Arrange > Move. The Move selected objects dialog box opens.

3	Specify the move options.

Click OK.

 

Move options
Horizontal	The number of grid steps that you want to move the selected objects horizontally.
Vertical	The number of grid steps that you want to move the selected objects vertically.
Leave original	Select to leave the original object in its place, and only paste a copy of it in the new position. Repeat – The number of evenly spaced objects you want to create.
