Creating a MessageIN Event

To create a MessageIN Event

1	Add a new MessageIN Event to the Message, and keep the default name.

2	Double-click the MessageIN Event. The MessageIN tool opens.

3	In the MessageIN tool, click Browse. The Select sxd Resource dialog box opens.

4	Browse to, and select, the appropriate SXD resource. A message box opens.

5	In the message box, click Yes to rename the Event. The Event will get the same name as the trigger pattern.

6	Click Import Message to load the contents of the SXD file.

Changing the Event name

The pattern that triggers the Event is defined in the SXD file. When you created the Event, the name was automatically set to the trigger pattern – this is the standard procedure for specifying the trigger pattern for a MessageIN Event. If you want to change the name, you must specify the trigger pattern differently:

1	Copy the original Event name (trigger pattern).

2	Rename the Event.

3	Double-click the Event. The MessageIN tool opens.

4	Right-click the Pattern field, select Paste, and exit the MessageIN tool.
