About E-Invoice Center

About E-Invoice Center
E-Invoice Center is used to create legal, country compliant electronic invoices, intended for B2B (business-to-business) scenarios.
Authenticity and integrity
A legal e-invoice must be digitally signed and must be possible to validate. The digital signature identifies the sender of the e-invoice (authenticity of origin) and ensures the integrity of the invoice. The validation of the digital signature ensures that the contents of the e-invoice has not been tampered with (integrity of contents). The legal requirements of digital signatures are country specific. After being signed, the company sending the e-invoices is responsible for storing the e-invoices in an archive that fulfills the local legal requirements of a long-term storage system for e-invoices.
OpenText and TrustWeaver
E-Invoice Center includes OpenText and the partner TrustWeaver. StreamServer creates formatted invoices and connects to TrustWeaver via web service calls. TrustWeaver is an ASP (Application Service Provider), offering an SaaS (Software as a Service) solution called TrustWeaver On Demand (TWOD). The TrustWeaver On Demand service transforms the invoice data into a legal e-invoice by applying the correct domestic signatures and validation mechanisms. OpenText is responsible for the business communication. TrustWeaver is responsible for adding the compliance mechanisms to fulfill the legal requirements of e-invoicing.
E-Invoice Center components
E-invoices are distributed via an output connector. In the filter chain, you use the following filters for signing, archiving, and validating e-invoices:
TWODSignature Filter – Used to call the TrustWeaver On Demand service that signs the e-invoices digitally.
CollectorArchive Filter – Used to archive the signed e-invoices in the storage for StreamStudio Collector of the company sending the e-invoices. The storage must fulfill the local legal requirements of a storage system for e-invoices.
GenericArchive Filter – Used to archive the signed e-invoices in the third-party archiving system of the company sending the e-invoices. The archiving system must fulfill the local legal requirements of a storage system for e-invoices.
TWODValidation Filter – Used to call the TrustWeaver On Demand service that validates the digital signatures of the e-invoices.
