Identifying source and destination countries
The source and destination countries are identified from country codes. The country codes must be the codes for the countries where the Seller and the Buyer are registered for VAT.
During the Design Center Message configuration, you must configure the Message to identify the country codes from the initial two characters of the VAT registration numbers.
The supported country combinations are defined in TrustWeaver Compliance Map™, available from OpenText Support.
The country codes must follow the ISO 3166 standard. Countries and corresponding country codes are listed at:
http://www.iso.org/iso/country_codes/iso_3166_lists/english_country_names_and_code_elements.htm
To identify the source and destination countries
Create two variables; one for the source country code (for example, $sellerscode), and one for the destination country code (for example, $buyerscode). You will specify the variables when you configure the signing and validating filters for the output connector. The variables must be assigned their values before the filters are applied.
