Defining document types with metadata
TrustWeaver generates reports when signing and validating e-invoices. StreamServer can extract metadata from the signing report, for example information about when an e-invoice was signed and when it was ready for archiving. This metadata can be used later to search for e-invoices in the Seller’s archive.
The metadata must be available in the resource set connected to the Runtime configuration. You add the metadata to a metadata group, and add the metadata group to the relevant document types. Since StreamServer recognizes this kind of metadata from the names (not from variable values), you must spell the metadata names correctly and select the correct data types according to the Metadata syntax below. In the Document Type Editor, you must select No value.
Later, you will assign the document type in the output connector configuration.
