Creating a filter chain with filters You must create a filter chain and configure the filters for signing, archiving, and validation. You create the filter chain in the resource set connected to the Platform. You must add the filters to the filter chain in the following order: 1 TWODSignature Filter 2 CollectorArchive Filter or GenericArchive Filter 3 TWODValidation Filter Figure 3 Filter order in the filter chain Later, you will use the filter chain in the output connector configuration. You must ensure that the content of the e-invoice is not manipulated after the signature filter is applied. If the content is manipulated, the integrity of the invoice will be broken. The invoice can no longer be trusted and will not validate correctly. We recommend that you do not add any other filters to the filter chain other than the signature, archive and validation filters. However, if you add a filter before the signature filter, you must make sure that the filter transforms the data to a format that can be signed by TrustWeaver. If you add a filter after the validation filter, this filter must not change the content of the e-invoice. Prerequisites The logon credentials and the corresponding password must be added to the resource set, see Adding logon credentials. To create a filter chain with filters In Design Center, you create the filter chain and add the filters using standard procedures. For filter settings and descriptions, see: • TWODSignature Filter. • CollectorArchive Filter. • GenericArchive Filter. • TWODValidation Filter.
