Migrating stored Messages
You can migrate stored Messages from one runtime repository to another. You can do this when you upgrade and when you migrate from one environment to another. When you migrate stored Messages, all Composition Center resources are included in the migration.

To export stored Messages from the source environment

Start DBAT in the source environment and click the Runtime Repository category button.

In the Export section, click Browse. A file browser opens.

Browse to the folder where to store the export (zip file), enter the file name and click Export. The export path is displayed in the Export to field.

Select the Message store area and click Export. The zip file is created in the folder specified.
To import stored Messages to the target environment

Start DBAT in the target environment and click the Runtime Repository category button.

In the Import section, click Browse. A file browser opens.

Browse to the zip file to import and click Import. The import path is displayed in the Import from field.

Select whether to Empty the repository before importing, and whether to Overwrite existing matching data.

Click Import.
Log for import failures
Errors during the import are logged in strs-rtmt.log and import-failures.log. You will find the log files in:
<user_home>\dbadmintool-files
