Searching for services
You can search for services that are exposed by StreamServer applications within your sites and application domains. The search operation gives you a list of the found services, including their version numbers, according to you search criteria. For each service you get information on the StreamServer application name and the location of it, i.e. in which site and application domain the application is used.

In the Search dialog, enter the search criteria in the Criteria table, or leave as default to search for all services and service versions. You can use a wildcard and combine the wildcard with parts of a service name, for example *invoice to search for all services ending with invoice.

Click Search to search for available services matching the criteria.

A Composition Center user tries to preview a document. Composition Center checks that a corresponding service is available. In this case it has been shut down and an error message is issued that a service called insurance of version 2 is not running.
The Composition Center user contacts the administrator which has access to Control Center, and asks to have the service restarted. To locate the service, the administrator wants to find the StreamServer application exposing the service. The administrator selects the Site in question and opens the Search dialog in Control Center
To find the StreamServer application that exposes the required service, the Administrator enters the following:

When executing the search by clicking the Search button, the following is returned in the results list.

By clicking the Go to button, Control Center is displayed where the application exposing the insurance service of version 2 is highlighted.
