Deploying a web application to an isolated environment
To deploy a web application, you must first add the web application to the Web Applications folder and configure the Manual deploy option for the application. Then you must connect the web application to the application domains to be accessed from the web application. Finally, you must manually copy the deployed WAR files and the related folders to the Java application server.
Adding a web application
Prerequisites
The management gateway that will deploy the WAR files must have read access to the installation folder containing the WAR files.
Name requirements
The web application name must:
Not be the word applications.
To add a web application

Right-click the Web Applications folder and select New Web Application.

In the New Web Application dialog box, select the type of web application.

Select Manual deploy.

Click OK. The management gateway copies the WAR files to the following manual deploy path:
<Base Directory>\<Version>\root\etc\unmanagedportals
Connecting the web application to an application domain
Prerequisites
To connect a web application to an application domain

In the Web Applications folder, right-click the web application and select Link Application Domain.

In the Available Application Domains area, select the application domain to which you want to connect the web application.

Copying WAR files and related folders to the portal root
This section applies when deploying a StreamServe web application to Apache Tomcat.
To copy the WAR files to the portal root

<Base Directory>\<Version>\root\etc\unmanagedportals
Where <Base directory> is the path specified for Design Center Projects during the Framework and StreamServer installation. For example: C:\ManagementGateway

<TOMCAT_HOME>\webapps\

For information about how to unpack WAR files, see the user documentation for the Java application server. For Apache Tomcat, the files may be unpacked automatically if you restart the Apache Tomcat service.
Note:
To copy the related folders to the portal root
