Configuring the connection settings for StreamServe Enterprise Repository

Typically, each computer that you use to run OpenText StreamServe applications is connected to one StreamServe Enterprise Repository. If there is an existing StreamServe Enterprise Repository at your company or organization, you can connect the computer to that enterprise repository.

If you are making a new installation of OpenText StreamServe, you can create a new StreamServe Enterprise Repository. To do this, you first configure the connection settings and then create the database for the enterprise repository.

To configure the connection settings

1	If the Configure Enterprise Repository dialog box is not displayed automatically, right-click the site node and select Configuration.

2	Enter the connection settings for the enterprise repository. See Enterprise Repository Configurations dialog box.

3	Click OK to close the Configure Enterprise Repository dialog box.
