Configuration dialog box (ELS)

The Configuration dialog box is used to enter the connection settings to Enterprise Library.

Setting	Description
Connection Profile
URL	The URL to Enterprise Library. For example: http://elshost.streamserve.com You can enter HTTPS as the protocol, which secures the communication. For more information about configuring HTTPS, see Using HTTPS communication with Enterprise Library Services.
Port	The port used for communication with Enterprise Library.
Recovery settings	Specifies how StreamServer applications should reconnect to Enterprise Library in case of a lost connection. Attempt recovery a limited number of times – StreamServer applications try to make <x> number of re-connection attempts to Enterprise Library. Attempt recovery an unlimited number of times – StreamServer applications try to reconnect to Enterprise Library until a connection is successfully established. Do not attempt recovery – StreamServer applications do not try to reconnect to Enterprise Library.
Authentication	ELS User
User name	User name to connect to Enterprise Library. This user requires privileges to create documents in Enterprise Library.
Password	Password to connect to Enterprise Library.
Authentication	ELS Application
User name	The name of the Enterprise Library application for StreamServe.
Password	The password for the Enterprise Library application for StreamServe.
