New Repository dialog box

The New Repository dialog box is used to add a new Collector archive, Document Broker repository, ELS connection profile, or Media Management connection profile to the Repositories folder. The new repository or connection profile is then available to all application domains at the site.

Note:

After adding and configuring a Collector archive or Document Broker repository, you must also create the repository if it does not already exist.

 

Setting	Description
Type	The type of the repository or connection profile to be added. The following types are available: • Collector archive. • Document Broker repository. • Connection to Enterprise Library. • Connection to a Media Management repository.
Name	A name for the repository or connection profile. In the Configuration dialog box (for a Collector archive or Document Broker repository), the name will be suggested as Database name (for Microsoft SQL Server).
Description	A description of the repository or connection profile.
