Export Parameters dialog box

The Configure Platform Export Settings dialog box is used to add and configure Java parameters for a StreamServe application (StreamServer application, Archiver application, or service gateway). For example, the target JRE (Java Runtime Environment) vendor and the Java class paths.

Setting	Description
Java Vendor	The JRE (Java Runtime Environment) vendor. • Name: Java Vendor • Value: none (default), Sun, or IBM The option none means that the Java support is disabled. No JVM (Java Virtual Machine) will be loaded.
Java Class Path	A semicolon separated list of directories, JAR (Java ARchive) files, and ZIP archives to search for class files. If all class files are located in one of the following directories, you do not have to specify the Java class path: • <Working directory>\java • <Working directory>\..\data\java (only for StreamServer applications) For example: • Name: Java Class Path • Value: c:\jndi.jar; c:\myjavaclasses
Java Option	A Java option. Note: Do not include "-" in the name. For example: • Name: verbose • Value: jni
Java System Property	A Java system property. Note: Do not include "D" in the name. For example: • Name: java.library.path • Value: c:\mylibs
Add	Click to add a new parameter.
Remove	Click to remove the selected parameter.
