Domain menu commands

 

Command	Description
New Application	Opens the New Application dialog box, which is used to add a new StreamServer application, Archiver application, or service gateway.
Start All Applications	Starts all the applications in the application domain.
Restart All Applications	Stops and restarts all the running applications in the application domain.
Stop All Applications	Stops all the running applications in the application domain.
Refresh All Applications	Updates the status information for the applications in the application domain.
Deploy Export File	Opens the Deploy wizard, which is used to select a StreamServer application and Project export file, and deploy the export file to the application.
Update Application Domain File	Updates the application domain configuration for the applications in the application domain. Changes are applied when the applications are restarted.
Rename	Renames the application domain. The application domain name must: • Only include ASCII characters (a-z, A-Z, 0-9). • Not include any whitespaces.
Edit Application Domain	Opens the Application Domain Editor, which is used to edit the administrator, repositories, connection settings, and recovery settings for an application domain.
Link Archive	Opens the Link Archive dialog box, which is used to link a Collector archive to the application domain.
Link Web Application	Opens the Link Web Application dialog box, which is used to link a StreamServe web application to the application domain.
Extract Domain Settings	Saves the application domain configuration as an XML file.
Create Database	Opens the Create Database dialog box, which is used to create a runtime repository and web content repository for the site, or generate the database scripts used to create the repositories, or apply hotfixes to the repositories.
Retrieve Document Types File	Saves the document types used in the application domain in the specified file.
Launch Database Administration Tool	Launches the Database Administration Tool, which is used to administer the runtime repository for the application domain. For more information, see the Database Administration Tool documentation.
Pack Application Domain	Opens the Pack Application Domain dialog box, which is used to create a package file of an application domain. The package file is used when importing or migrating the application domain.
Migrate Application Domain	Opens the Migrate Application Domain dialog box, which is used to migrate application domains.
Delete Application Domain	Deletes the application domain and related applications from the tree view in Control Center. This does not delete the configuration files for the applications in the application domain or the runtime repository for the application domain.
Search	Opens the Search dialog box where you can search for services exposed by applications within the application domains.
Upload License	Select license file to upload. The license file is uploaded to the working directories of all StreamServer applications in the application domain.
