StreamServer application properties

 

Property	Description
Name	The name of the StreamServer application.
Logical name	A logical name for the StreamServer application (e.g. the name of the corresponding Design Center Project). The logical name is used as identifier when deploying to a StreamServer application. All StreamServer applications in an application domain that have the same logical name are treated as the same StreamServer application.
Description	The description of the StreamServer application.
Application type	The type of application, that is StreamServer.
State	The status of the application, for example running or stopped.
Application Domain	The application domain of the StreamServer application and status of the application domain configuration. Current – The most recent version of the application domain configuration is used for the application. Out of date – The application domain configuration has been updated, but the new configuration has not been applied to the application. See To apply the changes to the applications.
StreamServer version	The version of the StreamServer used to run the application.
Startup type	How the StreamServer application is started. For example, automatic, manual, or disabled.
Log on	The account used to run the StreamServer application.
Export file	The name of the export file deployed to the StreamServer application.
Working directory	The path to the working directory for the StreamServer application.
Log files	The name of the log files for the StreamServer application.
Management gateway host	The computer used to run the StreamServer application.
Deployment timestamp	The date and time the export file was deployed.
Project name	The name of the Project deployed to the application.
Project export timestamp	The date and time the last export was made in Design Center.
Project label	If the Project is deployed from the file system, this is the creation date and time of the export file. If the Project is deployed from a version control system, this is the label of the export file.
Physical layer	The physical layer of the Platform that is deployed to the StreamServer application.
Temp directory	The directory (relative to the working directory) containing temporary files for the StreamServer application and the platform.
Debug mode	Enables or disables debug mode for the StreamServer application. For example, disabled, enabled, or enabled verbose.

Profiler	Enables or disables the Profiler service, used to investigate how the OpenText StreamServe software behaves during processing. Note: For a StreamServer application, you must also specify the processing events to profile. For more information, see OpenText StreamServe Performance Guidelines Reference Guide.
Project version number	The version number of the exported Project deployed to the application. The version number is specified when exporting the Project from Design Center. Applications with deployed Projects exported from old releases of Design Center, without the version property, have version number 1. Input connectors	Enables or disables the input connectors used by the StreamServer application, next time it is started. If you run several versions of the same Project in parallel and they use shared resources for input data (folder, HTTP port, email account etc), it can be useful to disable the input connectors for the old StreamServer application versions. The old application versions are still running, enabling documents stored in Message store to e.g. be submitted. However, no input data is picked up by these applications, which potentially can cause erroneous output. Also, regardless if you version your services or not, it can be suitable to temporarily disable input connectors of specific StreamServer applications. For example, if you want to increase performance for other StreamServer applications. Note: Service Request connectors cannot be disabled.
